Cholesbury and St Leonards Women's Institute 
The WI Cholesbury-&-St Leonards W.I. was formed as an evening institute in July 1979 following the suspension of the afternoon institute which had been active since the 1930s. At present there are 34 members who meet on the third Monday of each month at St Leonards Parish Hall in Jenkins Lane, St Leonards. The programme of speakers for these meetings can be found here and we hope that they will be of interest and would welcome anyone to come to these meetings as a visitor. We have a reputation as being friendly and welcoming so why not come along - meetings start at 8pm. There is always a certain amount of what is called "business" to go through, but this is kept as short as possible and is usually news of what is going on within the county and opportunities to take part in other events and activities, ranging from rambles to concerts and many others. Besides being part of the county federation, each individual WI is also part of the national organisation, and as such we have a say in a number of campaigning issues at a national level, and our views are listened to!
