Walks in the Hilltop
Villages
Dundridge and Braziers End
The fifth in a series of walk leaflets
This is one of a series of leaflets describing walks around the four
villages of the parish have been produced to celebrate the Queen's Golden
Jubilee and the 40th Anniversary of the Local
History Group. Each one contains information about the local history,
wildlife and landscape that you might encounter on the walk which is
characteristic to this part of the Chilterns.
This is a longer walk than the others in the series and will take around
3½ to 4 hours. It is suitable for both the keen walker and for families
seeking to enjoy the area perhaps in conjunction with a drink or meal!
This is the fifth walk, Dundridge and Braziers End, and is actually
two walks in one and has two starting points, the Full Moon and the White
Lion pubs. It features both the woodland and the open countryside of
Cholesbury and Dundridge.
Printed copies of all these walks can be obtained free of charge if you
live locally or are visiting the area. They are available from the Rose and
Crown and Full Moon pubs or you can pick copies up at meetings of the Local
History Group and other events in the parish.
You can download this leaflet here in two parts, the outside pages
that give an overview of the walk and information about the locality, and the
inside pages that show a detailed map and directions for the walk.
