Greetings Cards / Notelets
In addition to the first series, the Society now has available a second series of the popular greetings cards with photographs of some of the butterflies that may be found on our Commons. David Dennis, a well-known local butterfly expert and wildlife photographer, has generously donated the photographs of the butterflies used in these cards.
The cards are blank inside and therefore suitable for a multiplicity of purposes. Each card has a short descriptive piece about its butterfly and habitat, written by David, on the back of the card.
The cards are for sale at £1.25 each - please contact Sue Phillips (757202) or another committee member if you would like to buy some.
The Society will use all profits from the sales towards the maintenance of the Commons.
As an example, the Common Blue from Series 1 may be seen below. Smaller images of all the cards from both series are below the Common Blue.
